Villa Encantada
The structural components of natural wood and stone link this contemporary tree house to its surroundings. Tucked tightly into the sheltering trees, Villa Encantada gazes out at the distance like a watchful falcon. The ceiling to floor windows are recessed under wide eaves, sheltering the inside space from direct midday sun, but inviting the wide vistas inside.
Key design features are enriched by the placement of multi-textured plants softening the planes of functional stone and iron. Unique specimen vines and shrubs integrate the design elements, showing off their soft color and texture against the angular planes of the home.
Sculptural lines of the outdoor shower echo the design elements of the home, tying the inside and outside together. The expanse of shimmering pool against the lush surroundings draws the eye to the arresting view of the distant Pacific shoreline. Ahhhhh. Living the enchanted life.
